He`s Got Personality

He is charming, the way he moves around me, asking for love, telling me when he is hungry. He even knocks on the door wanting in! Last night around midnight I was watching t.v. and I heard a knock at the door, it was not loud, I knew it was the cat, he has a certain way he knocks. I open the door and he comes inside, sits by the door and stares at me, that was him asking for food. I fed him, he ate and he walks quietly into my bedroom and gets into his bed, rolls up into a circle and goes to sleep. Around 4 am I wake to this smart cat, sitting in the floor by the bed, meowing. I tell him "okay" and he runs to the front door and out he went into the cold darkness. Animals amaze me, for one how they will mimic what humans do. What smart moves does your pet have?

Cats are amazing animals especially when they have humans wrapped around their paws

Animals are amazing. Luke, my dog will lay his head on your shoulder and give you a hug. He is a sweetheart. It's wonderful have a pet that gives you unconditional love and can communicate with you.

Roscoe, my giant golden retriever, will hug me too, I ask for a hug and he sits by me and lays his head on my hip.

I've been played by all 3 cats in one way or another, I've finally wized up a little and am not letting them play me as much ..... ok, so I still fall for some of their antics but I izz learnin.

@andriaperry The marking is why I want to build a catio for the house cats here. Once they are moved into it they can stay out and still be safe from the road. I dont want to lose any of them like that.

Kitties are the best! Doodles has a way with words and also sings with my daughter-in-law. His love of opera always amazes me, too. He is very much like a puppy, because on command he will sit, lay down, and jump up.

Herc would nuzzle at the chain on his gate. He knew that was what was keeping him in but he couldn't manage to open it.

Roscoe, my dog, he knew to come and go from the gate so he broke it down, time and time again till he got an electric fence. I would love to let him loose but he gets in the road and bothers the neighbors.

That is really neat he knocks at the door. I had a cat that would hang on the bathroom door to turn the knob to open the door.

My cat is perstant. He would get up on his hind legs and pat my arms or hand scratching for food and I'm not feeding straight away he would flop on the floor on his side, grabs my ankles and play-bite.

Our cats were always inside cats. It's cute that yours knocks on the door. lol. But ours did have ways of communicating to us what they wanted. They were a hoot.

@andriaperry Yes we understand and know or try to know what our pets are telling us. My cat when it is time to eat comes to yacking aways that she wants her food.
