I Just Learned the Meaning of SMH today / myLot

There are new abbreviations used in conversational english especially online these days. I looked it up and when I saw the meaning I said "ahh" . Ate there other abbreviations I need to know of to feel less old, and left out lol? I know the meaning of LOL and LMAO though.

My city has a newspaper called the Sydney Morning Herald. I always assumed SMH was the news paper :). Learnt something today :D smh lol

Oh yes, and now that I know that 'smh' does not include any bad language, I can freely use it in my texts and posts as needed. LOL ( I already use that one )

I was one for acronym when I was in elementary school. The Social Studies teacher forced us to memorize. However, I was also surprised at the new lingo which probably emanated from saving space and characters in text messaging, What does SMH mean. I do not know that yet. But HHWW is something I learned ages ago. Holding hands while walking.
