It's not like it fell or anything. I saw this video about upgrading it by wrecking the insides so it would have space for the air stone. But it didn't work out like it supposed to be. The bubbles didn't come out right because nothing was coming out of the tube. Instead it came out where the sponge was. I removed it and use the air-stone in the aquarium as replacement. Maybe It would work on a smaller version of it.

I am about to buy the same kind of sponge filter my friend even as I type lol! I will use it as back up for my overhead filter. Its only 100 pesos in lazada and guess what its buy 1 take 1

plus 50 pesos shipping. Gonna buy now before it's gone

, it's cheap so I think you can continue with your experiment.

Hello @louievill what size is it? this is a little bit bigger when I bought it. I already have a sponge filter the one my brother gave me along with this aquarium. WOW you got lucky, perhaps I should hang out with Lazada even more in case i get a chance withat buy one take one. I am usually get rip off over here.

There is a saying do not fix what is broken.

Speaking of Aquariums I am considering to have a salt water one eventhough its more high maintenance.

Hello @CaptAlbertWhisker Back in the 90s we used to have a salt water aquarium. I don't think i wanted that high maintenance. I shouldn't have risk it in the first place.
