Being here in Florida I can't help but feel concern for all our My lot sisters and brothers. Please stay safe and warm and follow all the warnings that are going your way. When you warm up, let us know you are alright. We all worry about each other on here.

I drank a small bottle of vodka just to feel warm because of the freeze. I had been eating a lot of soup too,

25 here! My coffee makers are all going bezerk and I wanted to go buy a new one today. We were all told to stay inside.

What state are you in? 25 isn't bad. I remember being below zero in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and I still went to work. I was lucky as my car had a remote heater/air conditioner in it so I would start my car up at 3am from the window and then get in the shower and when I was ready to leave the house the car was nice and warm.

@ramapo17 I do not state my location on-line. There are creepers out there. But, we were told this was the worst we have had in 20 years.

ya ne'er know where this kinda weather 'tis gonna strike, so i reckon no way to 'void such 'nless ones retired 'n 's the funds to head south fer the winters. i 'gree, i worry 'bout many - the homeless, the elderly, the young'uns 'n the critters. those're the ones who suffer the most.

Being from Arizona I cannot fathom that kind of cold. I keep seeing friends posting about it and I just hope they keep safe, stay warm and have a lot of snacks so they don't have to go out in that cold.
