#stopimagetheft is still a concern on Amazon!

Copyright infringements and image theft are still a HUGE issue for artists on Amazon and since Amazon keeps to ignore any petitions, please, whatsoever it is still our task (and a very tedious one!) to keep reporting those infringing listings and ASINs. I have used Amazon’s mobile app to scan my photos and found many infringements. Some I may not have found by just looking for my titles and search phrases. But how to report those infringements? I have used my Amazon wishlist to pin them all onto one wishlist to keep track of them. Very handy and easy to use from my smartphone and various laptops. I can also see at a glance which ones are still availble and online and which items have already been removed without checking my emails.

The copyright is not protected online. I found some of the photos I published years ago on a writing site used for commercial purpose. It is still unclear where to report those infringements.

Well, copyright is protected online. It is just impossibly hard to find a service that will fight for you. I do use Copytrack for free. They are scanning the internet for my photos and designs and alert me of findings. I can file a case with them, they do all the work 8most of the time they tell me they can't help me since the domain name registrant can't be found) but in the moment of success, they would get a fee from the money. Never have seen this happen as of now but I do have an open case with someone in California were we do know the address. So I really do hope I will get some money for the use of my photo without asking for permission first.

@stine1online It is protected, but there is no way to stop scammers to use your photo. It's just like to say that there is the police but they do not come out if you call them because a crime was committed.

I store my images on an offline hard drive and only have what I want to use on my PC. I refuse to trust Amazon or any other cyber site to handle my images.

I've always wondered how that works but like you I don't want anyone stealing my images, especially not those of my furbabies @stine1online

That is a good thing to do. Unfortunately, I am selling stock photos and print on demand gifts, so it's a can of worms :-(

That is very sad that the artists don't get paid
