Leonid & Friends Covering Chicago

"Leonid and Friends” skyrocketed to internet stardom after they recorded covers of their favorite band and posted them on YouTube. They traveled from Russia to suburban Chicago for a sold out show, bringing joy to fans from both countries.
After seeing a clip on the nightly news last night, I have been listening to their videos all morning and am shocked at how great they are. Any Chicago fans out there? You should really check these Russian guys out on YouTube. There are too many links to share.
During one of their US shows, the original Chicago drummer sat in on one of the songs.
Have you heard about them? Their USA tour in January sold out all eight shows.

I had not heard about them. I am very picky about cover artists / bands. Sometimes they do a wonderful job and bring a new flair to an old classic. Other times... not so much.

@CarolDM Especially as language structure is different in Russia. I don't know if that would have been a hindrance to them learning the songs or not.

That guy sounds so much like Peter Cetera he should be touring with the real band!

Tell me, I am still shaking my head every time I listen. Incredible Russian talent. I didn't have enough space to share all 10 songs they have done. Glad you found the others. Colour my World was always a favorite.
