I really did, I got them. I am talking about my batteries. My hubby finally picked up my AAA batteries last night. Who would believe it would be such a chore to get them. As soon as he got back from the store, I rushed to put them in my camera. Much to my delight, I found out that either the camera didn't like the batteries I tried to use before or all the batteries in my house are no good. I am going to the doctors for a while but I will be taking pictures after I get back and will share at least one of them with you. Hope you day is going the way you want it to. See you later.

Weird that all the batteries in your house did not work.

I can't understand why. I pitched them all in the garbage.

@HazySue WOW we cannot throw the battery in the garbage, we must bring them at a special container, they are dangerous.

@LadyDuck It was just a saying. I threw them into the receptacle that we have for that type of item.

I'm guessing you meant to say that 'much to your delight' the new batteries worked? Did you not have to charge them first? I've had several of both the double A and the triple A rechargable batteries and I went back to the regular ones. Maybe the chargers are better than they were before, but mine didn't seem to hold a charge all that long. Or, I just had too many of them to keep track which was charged when. I found this post on the sidebar after visiting with another member that has camera batteries on order that are rechargable.

@HazySue I read your post again. I previously thought you had rechargeable batteries, but I think that was due to the fact that the post I was on before yours was talking about that type of battery. I know that when they come from the store normal batteries are ready to go unless they've expired which is rare.

I have a bunch of batteries in a drawer that I never know are good or not. I really need to replace them all one of these days. Glad the new batteries worked for your camera. Good luck at the doctors
