Today I have been looking at the wonderful and varied Mexican cuisine. At one of the links, it said: the 100 best Mexican dishes. They had the explanation and a picture of each one.
From those I chose 12 although I doubt that I will be able to try them all. I don´t even know if my daughters would like to try one of them and share with me. They are picky. Anyway, I also set my limits. I will not eat any sort of bugs.
Have you gone to Mexico? Have you tried Mexican food?

Ciudad de Mexico is the second biggest city in the world. They have everything.

@LadyDuck It is different to visit than to live in a big place. Mexico City has so many things to see! But probably I would not want to live there. I hardly go out of my neighborhood where I live.

@marguicha I know that it's a big city with almost 9 million citizens. I do not like anymore big cities. My native city was so much better when we only were 600,000 residents.

I have never visited Mexico, but I like to visit the Mexican restaurants in my country. They have a lot of delicious dishes.

@marguicha I am sure that there are a lot of Mexican dishes that I have never heard of. Some of the Mexican restaurants in my country give us the chance to sample many different dishes. I once tried that, but I have forgotten most of the names.

@Porcospino The real Mexican cuisine is so rich that it is difficult to find it elsewhere. There are many ingredients that are grown only there. I remember going to the market with my husband many years ago and looking at the many different chiles, hot and sweet. And that´s one of them.

Those are served in Mexico. There are ants, several types of worms and grasshoppers.

There is American Mexican food which is similar to Mexican food.
