Amanda Rico recently had plans to celebrate her 30th birthday party in her hometown in San Antonio Texas by throwing a huge party until she read to her children the book "Light Up The Darkness" when she realized that not every child cannot celebrate a birthday since they live without having a great upbringing.
So Amanda along with her husband as well as her friends and volunteers decided to have a birthday party at St. P J's Children's Home for 130 abused and neglected children to brighten their day.
Now that is an amazing story of a mother who shows compassion to share her happiness with others on a birthday.

I was surprised that someone in Texas decided to have a birthday party inviting abused and neglected children for their benefit.

I am sure that the children had the time of their lives at Amanda's party.
