I just finished this piece of cross stitch and I am keeping it. It will go nicely in my kitchen. I rarely keep any of my cross stitch pieces, I usually sell them or give them away as gifts. This is one of the photos I took the other day. I wish it had turned out better but, it is what it is. You are looking at the best one. It is absolutely beautiful outside today. I think I will be spending a lot of my time in the screen room. Stitching, reading, and writing will take up my day. What about you? What will be happening in your world?

Cross stitch is one thing I never learned, I do not have the patience plus I got sweaty hands.

It's lovely. It should look nice in your kitchen. My day, right now I plan to go the movies with a friend if they plow the parking lot. I also plan to get some book work done.

@just4him That's too bad. Maybe if I sent you some of my warm weather it will help.

Well done! My mom is also interested in cross stitch. I forgot whether I had posted her cross stitch here. Her cross stitch is like painting.

You do beautiful work. I have learned that with digital cameras I get better results if I take shots that are farther away from the object then simply crop out what I don't want before I post it. None of my close ups come out that good either.

You can find manuals online @HazySue in fact I use Youtube for instructions on a lot of my stuff, you'd be surprised just how many people make videos on how 2s for justabout anything.

Very nice. I have thought of cross stitching on towels, but have never gotten the chance to do it. I am finishing up three projects in hoops currently--two gifts and something for my Etsy shop.

This is so pretty. Did you attach that piece of embroidered cross stich to the towel? It has made a simple kitchen towel into a special object

My Friday was quite hectic and didn't turn out the way we planned it. We were supposed to watch a cycling race but ended up having business meetings one after another.

I used to crosstitch many years ago. I did huge pieces that took me months, some I never finished but I still have them, I think. I will do nothing today, the 30 degree drop in yemps will stop me.
