I work in a library and people can eat and drink there as long as It in the bar.

Libraries will probably have to do something to attract people in. I think most libraries, hardly anyone goes in one anymore.

The big library on my island recently moved into a new building. Now there is a cafe where we can buy food and drinks. That is also a new thing here, but I like it.

@db20747 Yes, I think it is a great idea. In the past there was a vending machine where we could buy candy, but other kinds of food weren't allowed and we were not allowed drink coffee either.

That is a problem in many libraries!! Especially the teenagers, they don't realize that people are trying to get some work done here!!!

We have a small cafe in our library back home .. And live music every Sunday.. They let you eat in certain areas or at the cafe there .. The one here where i live now lets you eat as well ..its nice you can bring snack food and snack while you read .. A good day out of the house that's less expensive..and fun. I go to the library alot..
