What did I bake this morning?

@PainsOnslate Both of them sounds great.

@marlina I decided not to make anything knowing i would eat it. I went to the Y and did my exercises and skipped the sweets.

@crossbones27 is the package stuff any good?

@amadeo Its not bad usually dry but the one with actual corn in it is pretty moist.

It is very easy.Get some corn meal and follow direction.Easy no mess.The only thing that I do extra add some honey.

@Mariynda1225 I goofed there.Forget to put your user name. All you have to do buy some corn meal and follow direction.Very easy and simple. for me forgot to add the honey.But still taste good

@1creekgirl Yes it does call for buttermilk.Did not have any.I make this from scratch.

@amadeo Did you know you can make buttermilk by adding one Tablespoon of vinegar to one cup of milk?

@Nana49 you make corn bread in a skillet.Never tried this.I do not have a recipe for this.

@amadeo if you have a seasoned skillet then make your batter like you normaly do corn meal egg sugar milk ect. Or use jiffy mix and pour a little. Oil in your skillet put in the oven just to get hot then pour your batter in and bake ..after its out while hot run a knife around the edges and when cool.put a plate over it and flip it onto the plate i use a small iron skillett ..easier for me to handle ..
