My mom and I have been through a lot together and now that I'm older I'm very close to her. There was a time when we werr not as close as we are now and I held a grudge against her for the longest time, but I was able to over come it.
She has been through a lot with her husband leaving her after 25 years and she's doing so good. We talk every night and I can't wait till she comes up here to see me!

That's great that you are very close now, always nice to have that relationship! That's great that you talk every night and will be excited for her to come see you.
My mom and I had issues when I was growing up, but now we seem pretty close. Maybe it is cause we don't live in the same house, lol.

@Courtlynn yes so true, she thought she would die alone and all that, but she is enjoying life and has someone that likes her. So we will see how that goes.

I was the same with my brother. For years we didn't speak over some silly episode. We're over that now and keep in regular touch
