We continue with our 2nd edition of music trivia songs with "days of the week in the title." This music video has a different take on "this weekday" opposite of some who really do not look forward to the start of the week. So, enjoy this video from The Jam and appreciate the singer's anticipation for this day and the love he feels for this girl. Even if you don't know any of the songs and artists from the clues give the video a listen you might just enjoy it... And now here are today's musical clues- Do You know the songs and artists? Whodunnit? 1. This British-American soft rock band released the album containing this song in 1975, yet the LP did not achieve chart success until a year later. It was the second biggest album of 1976 right behind Frampton Comes Alive! by Peter Frampton. Much of the success of this album can be attributed to a line up change, adding a duo who were also a couple, and creating a departure from their blues roots. This new configuration made them eventually one of the most popular bands in the world. The song lyrics from this tune seem to suggest a struggling relationship. At the beginning of the week, things are great between them but by the time Friday rolls around, he needs a break. The cycle of the days of the week show a changing, deteriorating, relationship, one which actually played out in the bands follow up album. 2. The artist wrote this song for his wife, who he was missing while on tour. This song is ironic because the singer can't wait for this day to come to see the one he loves, but for many of us, this day is the dreaded day when the weekend ends and people return to work. The tune was the artist's first top forty single. This song would be a great one to hear at a California Labor Day Concert while wearing your hushpuppies and sipping on a margarita. Bonus: This brother/sister pop duo released this # 2 Hot 100 song in the early 70's. Their pop sound produced many hits including a total of three #1 hits along and five #2 singles. The tune's lyrics describes how some stormy weather can affect your mood on this day. An unusual aspect of this musical partnership was a girl playing drums. Do you know the song and artist? Ok, time to "call it a day" and figure out the music trivia... If your stuck and need additional help just let me know in your response. "Reach Out and I'll Be There" if more clues are needed. As always, thanks for reading and responding to my music post !!!! Source- Wikipedia & songfacts.com Photo- pinterest.com

@dgobucks226 — he had “emergency” open heart surgery a couple of weeks ago and the intubation process damaged his vocal cords. I wrote a discussion about it with the details.

@dgobucks226 Tragic. Though I guess she passed right after completing one of her biggest solo shows... at least she knew she was loved....
