Good morning!!
When I joined school, the first thing I ever learned was to wish my teachers 'Good Morning'. I always wonder why do we do that? I mean we wish people Happy Birthday because it is a special occasion and same is true for New Year, but why morning?
Is it because we hope that the day goes well and everyone is safe and happy? May be...
What do you think? Why do we say Good Morning?
Happy Valentine's Day. The GIF is apt for today's morning..

@Sheali I think it is in a way to wish the person you're talking to a good morning. If we started saying "Bad morning" it would feel very negative. Whereas "Good morning" has a more positive ring to it.

I think it is for the great start of the day or just saying "Goodluck to your day". Well, Good Morning greetings is definitely better than "Bad Morning" Ha ha

Wishing is an indication that all is well with those who we greet.
