Sharing a rose I received awhile back. I don't celebrate Valentine's day much any more. We exchange cards but that's it. Sometimes go out to eat on another night, but it is usually too busy to out on Valentine's day. Not a big deal. Photo ©CarolDM2019 I think we should celebrate the love we have for each other every day. Anyway, for those celebrating, Happy Valentine's Day. Any special plans, special deliveries, etc.?

The rose is beautiful. It seems like Valentine's Day is treated mainly a sales opportunity, but it's a reminder to appreciate the love you have too. And that doesn't cost a thing.

I definitely agree that we should celebrate love every day, not just Valentine's day. We went out for breakfast this morning, and someone was going around handing out roses, so I got one too. Not as lovely as your photo, but still nice.

Thank you for that rose. Sure is lovely. Happy V Day to you and yours! My hubby has a bit of a cold so he is using that to stay home on. We brought home a take and bake pizza for lunch or supper. Staying in and cozy today.

Thanks for the rose! I agree that the love we have for each other should be celebrated every day. We've been celebrating all day and have dinner reservations made months ago.

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day really either. As you say love should be celebrated every day. I did splash out on a small box of chocolate scorched almonds and used Valentine's Day as an excuse

Blue roses are stunning. Always heard they were a sign of mystery.
