Are there any other Tori Amos fans here? Have you ever seen her in concert?

What are your favorite songs/ favorite albums? I love Tori Amos. I have seen her 3 times in concert (The Boys for Pele Tour, the Scarlets Walk tour, and when she toured with Alanis Morisette). Little Earthquakes is still my all time favorite album. I have too many favorite songs to list, but "Tear in Your Hand" is probably my #1 Tori song.

Another note, Have you ever noticed that her music changes. I can listen to songs for years and then one day I hear something I havent noticed before. That opens a new door of what the song means. Also one of your replys you stated you didnt like her new stuff. I agree but believe that as we get older will stop and go "This really is greatness." That's what I hope.

It's not really so much that I hate her new stuff... I just don't like it as much. Usually I love the whole album... but the last couple I don't. I do like Martha's Foolish Ginger a lot. She actually sings in a different way than usual and it's quite lovely. Yes I know what you mean - her music grows and changes and has different meanings for me throughout my life. She just says things so much better than I do. Silent All These Years was a big one for me.

Tori - Tori
Oh, I am so jealous! I had a chance to see her in St. Louis but didn't have a credit card to reserve tickets and mom wouldn't let me use hers, she's so mean!:( I wish I could see Tori so bad. I have an awesome poster of her, though, check it out.

I like that poster. She has some really pretty & kind of glamourous ones from To Venus and Back.

I heard about Tori Amos when I was little and not so interested in music yet, so i'm not exactly familiar with her songs. then maybe two years ago she came up with this song "sleeps with butterflies" and i thought it was absolutely fantastic it's one of my all-time favorites.

I really love Tori Amos. One of my favorite songs by her is Happy Phantom. Also have you heard online the version when she sings with James Maynard from tool and a perfect circle? I am so jealous that you got to see her in three concerts. I would love to see her and Alanni Morrissette especially. I think I spelt her name wrong, o well I always do. How much did the concert cost you? Approx is she going on tour any time soon, do you know?

I have heard that song. I have a couple import CDs and a lot of downloads of rare stuff. I'm saving up for the new boxed set... but hopefully it will come down in price a little. I'm not sure how much it cost, I think it was close to $40 the last time (#3) we went but my brother bought the tickets as a gift and we were about ten rows back (his one moment of niceness his entire life). When we saw her with Alanis (#2) it was me, my brother and my mom. My mom didn't get the tickets fast enough and we were in the nose bleed section at a bad angle. We didn't care though we were just happy to be there. But then this lady came up to us and asked us if we wanted to go down on the floor. She said she was with the band. I guess everyone else in our section was there for Tori because she gave the tickets to us because we were the only ones getting in to tori. And we went to the floor thinking we would be way back - but happy with it because we were at least on the floor which was better than where we were this time or the first time we saw her. Boy were we surprised. The tickets were for FRONT ROW!!!!! They had saved the first two rows of tickets and were giving out to people in the audience. The really weird thing is that the girl next to us in the front row was also given a ticket, and she had been sitting in front of us the first time we saw Tori. Weird! Not sure if she is coming around any time soon. I would check her website.
