I Think Spring Must Have Sprung

I'm not a great one for housework and normally try to do as little as possible ... just dust the bits that can be seen. However, this weekend I just got the urge. I vacuumed throughout the house, polished all woodwork to within an inch of its life and cleaned my kitchen floor until I could almost see my face in it. I'd finished doing what I wanted to inside so, on Sunday afternoon, I decided to have a clear up in the garden. Raked the lawn, dug out weeds from my flower/fruit beds, put weed killer on the drive and put weed, feed and moss killer on my lawn. Why this sudden physical activity? The sun was out, the birds were singing and, for the first time since November, the temperature outside got to above 8 degrees! Now that I'm satisfied with my surroundings, I'm ready to do a bit of 'sharing' with my friends on MyLot. So, watch this space.
