Boring Without Internet

We had no internet service for almost 24 hours which started early morning yesterday.
It was good it was restored just this morning when I woke up to check. We did not know what caused the trouble. It was good my son went to the service provider's office last night and they promised to restore the service within 48 hours.
This is quite an achievement for them because in the past we waited for days, even weeks before their service was restored.
It is quite boring without the internet. Did you experience the same?

I can live quite nicely without internet. TV, books, music, radio, the outside real world.

I agree, I can divert my attention to do other things, but I always have to go back to the computer to check for some messages from my sisters who are far from me.

I have had that experience. It's amazing how, a few short years ago I didn't even have Internet. Now I have quit my cable, so no internet and all I have is the TV I get on an antenna, which is very limited. I still can make do without it, but I do get annoyed.

This can be quite frustrating when this happens. Especially when it is the internet in your home., We had that happen once here due to Bad wiring etc that kept our Internet, etc going out all the time, but everything is working good now.

Yes it is boring and I can't do my job without the internet so I always have a backup internet connection just in case one fails.
But if both don't work, I take the time to have some rest or go out and unwind.

It is important if you have a backup when you need it for your work. Yes, I agree we need to have some breaks too, far from these gadgets.

Not yet. I have been blessed to have it on so far without interruption. With Wi Fi, that is a different story. We get interruptions but they don't last long. It would be a nightmare for me because it is my bread and butter. Thanks for sharing.

It is hard when it lasts for so many hours because I am always checking for some important messages from my sisters.
