A day at the Farm/ He doesn't wanna leave my lap

Have anyone experience a monkey as pet? Well
my cousin have found this monkey in the forest of
Buhi (it is a small forested municipality near our City). Actually he doesn't found it, let me correct
my statement, He rather rescue it from a trap
made by local residents near the village that he
has been working with. There is a reason the villagers want to get rid of Moymoy ( monkey ) his been terrorizing the neighborhood, he like to steal food and some things too like toothbrush, soap, spoon and etc. too many to put it all here. But of the things he love to take mirrors is his favorite he love to look at his face believe me when you see him up in a tree looking his face in the mirror you'll laugh, sometimes i was wondering what he's been thinking when he watch his reflection.
But dont judge this monkey his naughty but sweet. Every time my cousin leave for work he always leave Moymoy in my brother care well this only mean one thing he had to stay at our house for almost a week. My cousin dont like the idea of cage and chain to put around Moymoy neck neither do I, I dont like that awful view. One time as i was relaxing in our terrace sitting on our old bamboo chair Momoy went down our mango tree and smile, yes monkey do smile just like us human they have emotion too. So what i did was ask him what do you want? well i know he couldn't talk, if someone could see me they might think i'm crazy., lol i dont care. Moving on with my story, he get near me and climb his way to my lap without a word he sat and look at me and by that time i know what he want, so i left up my hand and rub his back.

I have not had a monkey as a pet, but that does sound pretty irresistible. I talk to my dogs all the time:)
I have heard some types of monkeys become more aggressive when they get older though. I wonder if it would be better for him if there is some kind of monkey sanctuary where he could socialize with other monkeys and be in a safe place where he couldn't cause trouble. I don't know if they have anything like that in the Philippines.

Chimpanzees and orangutans can get aggressive that is true but i dont know if Moymoy will become aggressive too his been an adorable monkey, although my cousin havent consider donating it yet to some community but it a possibility in the future. He care for the safety and well-being of Moymoy so much so anything that can result good to Moymoy are an option to be considered. Here in the Philippines you can donate animals like monkey to the zoo.

Neat, but seriously a handful. i can barely handle energetic dogs let alone him. You sure you know what you getting into.

Look at him! He is cute and funny at the same time.I did never experience a monkey as pet 
It's a little impossible in the big city.I had the chance to see them only in zoo,unfortunately

@shebullet I believe it is expensive.In the city would be even more expensive because of his care,I guess.
Does he ever get angry? I wonder how it looks..

It is fun to take care of the monkey but i wouldn't recommend it in the city.Taking care of him was a little expensive too, we got to pay for the things he destroy in the neighborhood. But mostly of our neighbor understand and they love Moymoy too.
