Not sure what is going on.This is the first winter that we seen so many Robins. There is a crab tree in our neighbor yard and they loved it. They never come to the feeder. Not sure why? They rather eat worms . I loved seeing them in the crab trees. The photo to give you an idea. The photo is online.

Robins don't usually eat at feeders. They are mostly ground feeding birds and like to eat worms and insects.

We have tons of robins, front and back yard. The saying is winter is coming. But that is incorrect, it is here! They are ground feeders only.

Is your weather unusual - colder or warmer than other years? Or is there bad weather in places where they might usually go, so they have come to your area instead? Do they usually migrate?

@amadeo Maybe they are normally further north but they came a bit south to escape bad weather. But they don't need to go too far, if they can find food in your area they have no need to go further.

@amadeo We also have birds here in winter and usually they fly away and come back when the weather gets nice. I am curious why I see a lot of them.

The robin looks beautiful! Maybe they love the natural feeds more like the fruits or worms, or just for a "change of taste."
