Imagining myself living in a van

Maldives

Recently, my Youtube recommendations are all about the "Van Life". I got fascinated by how carefree the "van lifers" are, then i got hooked up. Sometimes I just wish I had a van and do what they're doing. Going to breathtaking spots and be able to camp for a night or two.

Hi Camille Lodonia! I love watching about those too!! That's why I was saving up some money for it. But I still have my doubts. Well, you see, van life isn't the same as what we see in their videos

Yes, and where i'm from, it would also be quite difficult to do van life since most of the areas are separated by waters.

@Camchi0610 Oh, an archipelago just like Philippines? (I'll look it up) I think it's great for camper vans. If island hopping is allowed in your country, I think it's fun to go everywhere...

@Dextoi actually, i'm from the philippines.haha! But i'm currently working in the Maldives. And yes, just like the Philippines, Maldives is an archipelago. The difference is that the islands here are small, so we literally can just tour the whole island for a day. ??

@Camchi0610 Yes,yes I understand you. In any case, I would rather be in a van than in a tent

No, not at this moment. I think it is also not very practical for me to live in a van when i'm in an island (a small one).

Thank you so much! That's my wishful thinking. I don't think I can survive living full time in a van, too. Maybe just a few days. Like, you know, instead of staying in hotels, just stay in a converted van (with a bed, sink and toilet).

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site! The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself. Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction. Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

It is cool I guess because you can go places and sleep anywhere too where you want to but I am unsure if it is safe.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Sadly, as much as I would like to start my own channel, I am way too shy to be talking in front of the camera. ??

I once dreamed of living on the road in some type of vehicle. Any vehicle. These days I no longer want to do that. I hope you get your dream.

Sadly, yes. It's the only way they can survive in areas where the cost of living is very high. I jusy saw a video about that this morning.
