New computer
18 or so months ago my old trusty laptop died. It was a good spec and fast for being a laptop. The day it died I went out and bought a used one, which was, oh so slow but I didn’t have the money to buy something better.
Last week I decided it was time to spend some cash and get myself a new desktop which it super-fast, I can’t believe how speedy it is, something I’ve been missing for the last 18 months or so. It’s an Acer, 3.6GHz quad-core with a 1TB hard drive.
Now I can use Photoshop and Lightroom again for photo editing, something that was hard to do on my laptop.

Like you, my first laptop was an Acer and loved it, lasted years. I also had an Acer desktop which too last years.

Yeah things have moved on a lot since I had a new old last, I just can't believe how fast my new Desktop is

?I have a laptop that is like 10 years old my mom got custom made then never really used so she finally gave it to me and it works great

It is always a treat when we get something new, especially when it's a laptop. I remember when I got this one and how fast it was in comparison to older tech! Long TIme No See!

@ScribbledAdNauseum Still knitting, my Etsy and my own website are doing well. Still into photography but I guess with my old laptop being soooooo slow it was hard to do anything with, but now with this computer, I can get back into photography.
How are you anyways?

Yeah, it's really nice to have something new and being so much faster than my old laptop, okay it a desktop which are faster, my laptop was years old so more than ready for an upgrade lol.
