Accident Happens

Yes accident happens without expecting it.When I am cooking in the kitchen today,I accidentally cut part of the skin of my left finger while I cut the vegetables and it is very painful and bleed severely.The knife slipped a little that is why.I really hate when this happens.But it is not a big wound but a little bit sore at this moment.
I right away rinse it with water and put some soap and then apply a antibiotic and wrap it with a gauge.Oh my goodness what a day.It is a disaster day for me.I just ask my daughter to let the food cooked there for me and also she is in charge for a while of rinsing the plates until this pain and the wound will be healed.

Accidents happen right that's why it's wise to keep the first aid kit and medicine cabinet well stocked and having sufficient knowledge on how to react in a situation, I hope you are fine now.

good thing your daughter knows how to cook and could take over the task.
it will be awkward in the coming days but at least it's not your dominant hand that's affected.

I hope you will heal quickly. I am an artist and often when using knives on wood I have to be very careful not to hurt myself. I have twice been to hospital with a gouge tool stuck in my hand....I took a few lessons and I learned how not to end up with gouging tools and knives in my hands. My husband is the chef in our house - I let him use the knives...

I often want to buy the hand protector gloves for the kitchen you know the steel kind..that way we will not get cut. I hope your finger is healing. Sorry to know this happen.

Better to rest that wound until the skin is healed completely. I had that happened a while ago, painful! Take care.

I hope you let your finger a rest while it's all good. I have cut my finger before and it hurt so much, I was even scared due to all the blood that emerged!
