Well, I know the news is saturated with information about Jussie Smollett. It seems overwhelming that the Chicago Police are right. Jussie Smollett, is horrible example of a human being at a time we need good human's more than ever.
It's so horrible that his stupid crime can actually aid our worst enemies, the nationalist right.
Smollet is the only good news, relative to Trump's position, he's had in a while.
Thanks for nothing Smollett. I hope they throw the book at you. You're not only a poor actor, you're really stupid too.

Why some of you ppl are really harsh. There are some people that falsely accused someone of rape and walked away free. He should be punished, but with some type of community service and fines.

I haven't seen many people in here comment of what the appropriate punnishment should be for Smollett. I do see predictions of what he might do to himself. I've also seen guess's as to what he''s done to himself.
As for justice, I think people who falsely accuse others of rape should be heavily punished.
In a celebrity beating like Smollett's case was supposed to be. Where a cities reputation, and a subject of national interest is concerned. Hundreds of cops spent lots of taxpayer money. Smollett deserves the same, if not more, action in pursuit of real justice.
Finally, we are a long way from real justice in this world.

He is like the boy who cried wolf. No one is going to believe when a real person is being mocked for being a minority. He has hurt the people who are truly being discriminated against.

Why not kick a man when he is down??? And you call him stupid??? Meanwhile all the men who have attacked women, including Trump, Weinstein, Mooves, etc., are walking around free but let's beat up on the Gay, Black man who did something very stupid but didn't physically hurt anyone but himself.
"Horrible example of a human being"---mmmmm----like the people who shoot up churches, schools, work places--that kind of horrible human being???? Or maybe the man who killed his wife and 2 children? Just asking.
