Dangerous Phone App

There is a dangerous phone application that could harm young people. It was in the television news last night; the so-called "momo" challenge where children who opened that app will be asked to fulfill tasks within 50 days. The first tasks were easy but as it goes, it becomes dangerous because it asks the victim to inflict harm on himself or other people. The one administering the app can also hack the user's gadget and can see what he is doing with that same gadget's camera. One child even committed suicide because of that evil app. It is really the work of the devil trying to ruin young minds. Parents were warned to keep watch of what their children are doing on their gadgets. Have you heard about this phone application?

I have heard of something similar. Not sure if it was a phone app, but it is awful! The developer should be tracked down and sent to prison.

I haven't heard of this app, but it sounds very dangerous. It is hard to understand what made anyone create that kind of app.

@acelawrites I agree. That kind of app shouldn't be allowed to continue. Today children and young people use their gadgets so much. Even small children know how to use them.

After seeing it in the news last night(the first time I heard about it), it is now all over my FB news feed... I think it will make a lot of kids more curious because of this so parents should be more aware of what their kids are doing while on their gadgets. I am afraid my nephew and niece will come across this app. They are addicted to their gadgets.

@acelawrites yes, upon reading on the comments of one video that I had seen, tackling about the dangers of that momo app, I had learned that the blue whale came before it.

@brokenbee yes, and parents would not know if the children are into it, thinking they are playing kids' games only.

It will make them more curious to know about the app; it's dangerous if they got hooked into it. There's also the so called blue whale.

@LowRiderX yes, I agree with you; children very young at that like six or seven year olds should not be allowed to have phones or electronic gadgets; unless they are closely monitored by their parents or guardians.

@acelawrites I wonder why so small kids, which have no disposition yet, will have access to the internet? With childrens, parents should work, With childrens, parents should talk (a lot!!) Parents should educate their children I'm almost convinced that this can not happen in any 'healthy family' and to anyone who gives enough attention to his child. But of course, it's much easier to buy him a phone, he/she will be quiet and won't disturb such a 'parents'

this is EXACTLY why parents should actually pay attention to what their kids are doing.if i had a kid, they wouldn't be using a phone or computer without me being there.and they wouldn't get a phone til they were at least 15-kids younger than that don't need to be on a phone all the time.
