Pay as you go electricity.

Have a lot of people heard about this? Pay as you go electric. I swear my electric co is my arch nemesis. Now that our house has closed, I'll be seeking some info on solar panels. Bt this pay as you go has been started in my area. Not with my company but another local company. Of course, I live in a government regulated monopoly. The more pockets that get lined upstate the more my bill goes up. This would have helped soo much while raising my kids. We could have learned a long time ago to be more conservative.

Yep, same thing. Just like the phones. You run out or start running low. You just make a payment . At least the local utility here.

@madgreer77 I see. I think that is also offered here but I haven’t encountered anyone who has already tried it. I agree that this would lessen the bill and will also help in energy conservation.

@AAichka See I wish I could get it. It would be the perfect way to give my utility co. the boot.

I have never heard of such thing. Maybe it is not in our country. We pay our bills as per our consumption. I am always on a conservative mode. It is good for my budget and for environment.
