Sunshine! It's A Beautiful Morning!

It's only 7AM, but already I can tell.....it's going to be a beautiful day!
The sun is shining. There is not a cloud in the sky!
Maybe I should mention that the temperature is hovering around -16°C. It is only supposed to warm to -10°C today.
In a short while we will be driving the two hours to Stanfield (Halifax) Airport to greet our daughter and our beloved granddaughter Sandra.
We've managed to borrow a booster seat (required by law) to transport Sandra. I also did some shopping at a thrift shop for snow pants so she will be able to play in our snow,
The neighbours have volunteered a sled....just wait....grandma and Sandra may be sledding down our backyard hill this afternoon. I'll try to get my daughter to photograph that!

@Teep11 we moved far from our family. Having our daughter fly out for a weekend with her daughter is truly a blessing and a treat.

I need to get my daughter to send me the photos. It was cold, but we had a lot of fun using that borrowed sled to ride down the hill in our backyard

We enjoyed sledding down the hill in the back yard. It was a bit crowded with two on the sled...but we certainly had a grand time.

We had a great (if cold) day with our daughter and granddaughter.
The borrowed sled was put to good use. Grandma and .sandra rode singly and together.
Memories are made of this!

@playertwo my grandchildren know they can count on grandma to do things that are silly and fun....and not necessarily age appropriate.
Playing in the snow was fun.....if a little cold.
