It's a Start / myLot

In the last year I've finished so many UFOs it's time to start a brand new project. I've been cutting some of my scraps into rectangles. Yesterday I started to sew the first few seams. When I packed up at the end of the day, I had one wing sewn of 47 flying geese. Tonight I sewed the second wing onto 3 of the flying geese. I only have another 897 flying geese to go. Before you know it I will have another quilt finished.

Oh my goodness the simple idea to have 897 to go would make me sick. I think that a lot of patience is needed to create a quilt.

We now officially have only 877 to go. I only spent a bit of time working on them today. I'll keep everyone updated. They'll probably get sick of my flying geese.

I usually do share photos of my finished quilts. Next week I have a day at the local quilt shop to use their long arm machine. I will finish two quilts next Wednesday.
