sugarcane field - the discussion sponsor wishes for sugarcane farming and I wish him all the luck.
Stress can be good and can be bad. With proper planning and hiring the right people and keeping the books straight. You have a fighting chance at working within nature and fresh air. Sugar cane sounds like you might be tropical so that would be a plus for me too. Pests can be a problem so keep on your toes and learn all you can before you go on this life adventure. I too am making a family farm and when it is running full tilt I believe that it will be a wonderful thing for alot of people.

a green tractor - dare I call it a John Deer they usually are green. a great tool on the farm for hauling a wagon, clearing a driveway and plowing.
I myself have plans for a family farm and therein lies the plan. Do not get too big and do things in stages as you are ready for them. If you keep moving with the seasons and daylight you can get alot done. Talk to your local farm bureau if you have one and they can be a great asset. Sugarcane seems like a great thing, do you know who will buy your product? I wish you all the luck and good wishes in your endeavor!
