Today has been a slow day for me. I have been lazing around the house doing little of nothing. My get up and go has got up and gone. Where I don't know but I wish it would come back or at least leave a trail of bread crumbs so I could find it. Anyway, I decided that I would go online and take a look at plants to grow in Florida in full sun. That lead to looking at gnome gardens. I keep wanting to build a little gnome garden but never seem to get to it. They have the most adorable ideas online. I think a little garden in a large broken clay pot for our new enlarged patio would be nice. Plus there is a wonderful spot in the front of the house that would be great for some pretty flowers and a little gnome village. I have gotten a whole bunch of wonderful ideas. I can't wait to get started. What has your day been like?

It's been busy but in a very good way, I've gotten a lot done and am still at it between online stuff.

Thanks, it's coming along slowly but surely @HazySue mostly it's all the stuff I brought home from mom's house that I thought I wanted but now I find I have twice as much junk as I really need.

@rebelann I think sometimes we think with our heart and get stuck with too much stuff.

I think a gnome garden would be lots of fun. I know other myLotters have gnome gardens and have posted pictures in the past. I don't have a garden per se but doing a little one in pots on my deck would be fun. Hope you find some really cute gnomes for your garden.

I think it's a great idea. I have been thinking about doing a large pot gnome garden for my expanded screen room when it is finished.

Collecting ideas is the best way to start a project. That way you will be ready when your get up and go returns! We don't have gnomes in our garden, but we do have some very cute statues and bird baths. One statue of a cat had to be hidden in our garage facing the wall. Why, you may ask? Doodles the cat hissed at it and tried to beat it up. He does not like cats, even fake ones.

I can understand his feelings. If there was another cat there, even an unanimated one, it may jeopardize his standing of king of the house.

I haven't done much yet today other than sorting and getting my silverware drawer organized. I have way too much silverware. I inherited my parent's large collection. I'm not complaining. But it's done. Then I went with my friend down the hall to her mammogram appointment and got a couple of other things taken care of. Now I'm back and myLotting. I plan to work on New Horizons: The Next Chapter. I'll be glad when I can give that one a proper name. I'm also waiting for a phone call that will make me very happy. I love the idea of garden gnomes. I'm sure you can make some really nice settings.

I love the idea of a little area with gnomes and their surroundings. Who knows, maybe a fairy or two.

You can easily make a little gnome garden; it would be nice. My day? not so exciting; as usual, doing little things just not to get bored.

I can't wait to get started. It might be a long process. Of course I want to make a gnome home. I think I would like a stump made into the house. My husband is getting into the project with me so...it just might take this side of forever to complete.
