I went to Kaiser (my medical provider) today to pick up some meds and check on the illegal snow peas I've planted there.
The snow peas look great (post forthcoming), and I gobbled up a couple while waiting for my prescription(s) to be refilled.
But what made me laugh was the sign outside the Kaiser door. This is the facility where I visit my doctor, get tests done as necessary, and refill my prescriptions.
There may be chemicals in there that can kick my ass? This is not a nuclear power plant. This is my doctor's office building!
I'm going to have to research what Shakespeare really meant when he said (no doubt through one of his characters) that we should kill all of the lawyers first.

What are snow peas??
The sign is really weird. Well, we have many such things in our home and everywhere that can doom us. We are surrounded by things that are bad for our health.

@arunima25 Maybe I'm glad I don't live India. But maybe there's no difference. I fear that if a mugger hit me over the head with a baseball bat, and I survived and hit back, I'd wind up in prison.

@TheHorse But that is good thing. At least they are scared of being sued. In our country, people don't take putting warning signs or following it so seriously. We have accidents of falling in pitfalls and dying but we can not sue anyone. If we do, it takes ages to get justice.
But yes I have heard few really silly stories about the sue things.

@marguicha I read it could cause all sorts of problems. And reading hurts my eyes. And sports could cause my heart to attack me. And steak can raise my blood pressure. And trust and kindness can lead to being mugged. We live in difficult times.

I see you know why they place those ridiculous signs, it's due to "human stupidity". They find always a way to sue for the most ridiculous things, this is the only way companies have to protect themselves. This is why you buy a box of chocolates and you read "CAUTION! It may contain, peanuts, soy and residuals from processed animal". If you do not agree you do not eat, but you cannot sue. This means that the Warnings are no more reliable and difficult to trust.

Remember I sell on eBay, etc and the New laws and rules about what we are not supposed to sell in CA is getting a little strange. But a rule like this outside a Doctors office or Clinic? Is this for people with major Medical issues to be aware of or what?

That would be enough for me to not go there but then again if it was where my doctor was I would ask him if I should wear a gown, mask, and rubber gloves

I'm sorry I tried to read the very small print. My reading glasses need to update. I'm sure it's very funny that's why you're sharing it.
Dang! I'm missing out! (about the sign). Shakespeare's lawyer probably changed loyalties. The master couldn't make money as a playwright. Too many tragedies. Haha!
