Our golden retriever gives me a daily battle of wills. She doesn't like walking on the leash. Otherwise she downright angelic.

Ours love to walk and good, as long as they don't see either another dog, or a deer. See either of those and suddenly the loose leash is taunt!

@DocAndersen Golden's have a reputation for not liking to walk on a leash. Ours definitely reenforces the rule.

I had one dog and had a cat with my dog and now have one cat . I feel animals do add to our lives.
