Last week I finished two quilts (well, almost finished). My Sanity Saver was quilted and bound....just waiting for a label. The other quilt, Shadow Box was quilted and is now waiting for binding and a label. The local quilt shop posted a photo of the quilt....fresh off the quilting machine, so I have a photo to share. It will be at least to weeks before I get this beauty bound.....something about a vacation lowers its priority. Once this one has been bound and labelled it too, will have an opportunity for the clothesline photo opportunity.

That's another nice quilt. Personally, I prefer the other one that you did on that day, I like the pattern a bit better. Its quite an honour to have had the shop owners take a picture of it.

The shop owners photograph every quilt made on their machines....and every Sunday morning she posts a compilation of all of the quilts from the previous week.

Thank you! This was a fun quilt to make and it used a lot of scraps.... You'd think by now I'd run out of scraps, but they seem to multiply when I'm out of the room.

I would love to sell a few of my quilts, but most people don't want to pay what it is worth. When you consider the materials and the many hours invested in a quilt....a quilt this size should be worth at least $1,000., but most people would rather buy a $50 quilt from Walmart.

@Morleyhunt That is sad. And I have been through with the same thing while trying to sell my art and craft. I don't like that bargains for something I feel so precious to me. So what you actually do with them? I remember some more from earlier posts. They definitely make a good gift for our precious loved ones who will cherish them.

@arunima25 Most are gifts. Some are donated and then raffled off as fundraisers.
