Would you travel alone with a stranger in a different country if you are offered a lot of money by the TV channel?

If it was a travelling reality show, where you, yourself had to shoot the entire journey and there was no crew, would you travel alone with a stranger in a different country; if you are offered a lot of money by the TV channel? The idea actually sounds interesting to me. My heart would definitely have said YES.. But my brain would never allow me to go alone with a complete stranger. Pros of the situation: You travel a different country. Get to know a supposedly interesting person. Get a lot of money. Cons of the situation: You may face issues while travelling or staying as you know nothing about the country. Your companion may not be a good person. What are your views and what pros and cons do you find in the situation? Picture from google images

I would not if the person who is proposing money is a stranger and I know nothing of his background. It could be very dangerous.

Women are too suspicious nowadays, being a pimp is no more a good job.

Maybe a popular TV channel proposes that, but if the person is a stranger, I can't go with him

Here I will not. Two years back I traveled with a bunch of strangers. It was a group of 60 ladies aged 35_60 for a hiking trip. I knew none and the two days I spent with them were really good. I came to know a few and even befriended them. I knew the organizers well and I trusted them.

@Sheali Yes and the organizers are trusted brand and I had used them earlier too. So I had a sense of security.

I wouldn't travel with a complete stranger. It is too risky. The person could be really nice...or the complete opposite. I wouldn't know how the person would react if something bad or something unexpected happens.

Exactly, what if he can't take a decision and you have to decide for him

You need someone with you that you are comfortable with. And so the answer is an emphatic no (lol)

I would not do it. There are too many unknowns. The stranger could be a total crook.

@Sheali Good question! I'm not too sure though. There are both pros and cons to this. I mean personal pros and cons. I think it would be an amazing opportunity though! I would most likely say yes but I would be nervous as I'm not comfortable in front of a camera and then having a lot of eyes watching me. I also hate planes so that would involve a lot of flying. Also, you'd have to do things on the channel's terms and not a lot of what you want and I'd personally not like to have a time limit.

A paid companion situation would require getting background on the person.

Yes, but sometimes what you know about a person's education or general info maynot be sufficient.. Legal papers can't show what a person is from inside
