Yesterday we had an early morning start as we had a 3 hour drive to get to a meeting at 8 am. I loved watching the sunrise from the car. It was like a perfect ball of fire. It truly brought out some colors at dawn. The picture makes the sun seem far away and was shot from the moving car. It captures some of the colors but does not capture the perfect sphere of fire that I saw!!

The dawn for me is the best time of day. Hubs and I go on long aimless drives in the early hours of the morning to enjoy the sunrise and beat the traffic too.

a 3 hour drive to a meeting at 8am? i'd need lots and lots of coffee to stay awake during the drive, the meeting and the rest of the day.

I wasn't driving, so it was ok. I did feel drowsy for bits of the meeting though.
