I would loose the key to his cell, or better yet, let him loose in general population and spread the word of what he intends to do. Let the other prisoners take care of him, considering that he is the lowest of the low in jail.

well id rather let the other guards or prisoner rape him or beat him up till he pleads for his life. child molesters are monsters and not allowed to the public ever

I would report it and make sure he does not get out but knowing the Justice I don't think they would take much notice

I have to agree with tlex and his comments, once the general population of the prison found out that hes a child molester they would take care of him, they dont like those kind of inmates, I peronally think they can not be cured of this and should not be let out but you know are justice system doesnt think that way,

This is a very difficult and emotional question. No matter what the legal system says, I too believe that child molesters and rapists cannot be *cured*. And if this person has said that he will do the same again, I have no reason to doubt it. If I had the power, I would not let him out and risk the possibility that he might hurt a child again. There must be authorities that could be contacted about his intent. And if all else failed, as has been suggested - tell the inmates. They take care of scum like that.

If it was in my power I wouldn't let him out. Of course with our system you can't lock them up forever. That being said I think I'd let anyone and everyone know what he told me, including a few trustees. Let the general population deal with him. Perhaps that would be justice. I don't know but the fact that he'd confess that means he wants to be stopped. Perhaps see about a civil commitment afterwards?

You keep him in. He has no business being out and being a risk for other innocent people.

I believe that it is very well established that paederasts are known recidivists, and will all to often re-offend upon release. I don't know whether chemical castration would be effective, but I'd be only too willing to make it compulsory for starters.
