I made this baby scarf recently and I love it ! I learned how to crochet using YouTube haha you can learn how to do anything now a days with YouTube. Do you know how to crochet ? What is your favorite hobby ?

Yes, I know how to crochet, knit, embroider and sew clothes. I made a lot of things when I was younger but don't make anything anymore. This is mainly due to the fact that I have arthritis in my knuckles and also to a change in interest.

oh wow that is amazing(: i am scared of getting arthritis in my hands as well if i hand crochet too often, i am sorry to hear that but i hope you love your new hobby as well.

@Dyvette16 Oh, you've drawn the wrong conclusion. The fact that I've got arthritis in my fingers has *nothing* to do with the fact that I did a lot of needlework in my younger years! It has to do with age and a certain disposition. Crochet away! It will keep your fingers flexible.

This is very nice. It is so cool that you can learn it by watching Youtube You are a genius. Unfortunately I don't have the talent for crochet. My mom is very good at it.

My grandmother was crocheting when she was living. I've tried to knit but wasn't so interested knitting but love to create.

My mom used to teach me how to crochet but I had a hard time catching up with the hooks and loops. Envy you. lol

Good job! I can do basic crochet only and love making scarfs. I have done a full-size afghan and a lap blanket too, but that is the extent of my crocheting. I have tried to learn some more stitches, but I get confused. So for now, I guess I'll be sticking with double and triple crochet. My favorite hobbies are reading, making jewelry, making soap and cross stitch and crochet when the mood hits!
