Any one can learn VB with little effort. Thats not the case of Java,C++ or other lanuages. So for a new person its better to start with VB... But never stick to VB alone since we can develop applications for windows platform only... while java can be used to develop applications for most platforms

WELL TO START WITH C++ U CAN MAKE A OS (OPORATING SYSTEM) AND WITH VB U CANT, Y VB LIVES IN A WINDOWS PLATFORM, IT IS A DEPENDINT OF MOST, IF NOT ALL OF WINDOWS .DLL FILES, BUT IF U THINK U CAN, U WILL, ONLY IF U HAVE ALL THE NEEDED FILES FROM WINDOWS .DLL FILES, AND SOME THAT U MAKE FOR UR PROGRAM TO WORK, SO THERE IS NO POINT IN DOING A OS IN VB IT WILL BE VERY MUCH BIGGER AND UNSTABAL THIN WINDOWS, BUT ANYWAYS DID U KNOW THAT WINDOWS IS MADE IN C++ CODE, YES IT IS, ANYWAY NOW VB IS BETTER THIN C++ IN VISUALS MAKEING, ALSO U HAVE MORE TOOLS IN VB THIN IN MOST IF NOT ALL CODES OUT THERE, U CAN MAKE JUST ABOUT ANYTHING, TIMERS, CLOCKS, ROBOTIC AI'S, TROJANS, VIRUSIS, LIKE I SAYED JUST ABOUT ANYTHING, O AND IT IS THE MUST EZ ONE TO LEARN, I KNOW THIS 14 YR OLD THAT IS MAKEING SOME REALY KOOL PROGRAMS AND GAME, AND THIS IS COMEING FROM A 14 YR OLD KID, WOW... its very easy language . you need to think lots of thing you can use drag and drop method here it is very convenient to make any programme .

I know a little it is complicated for me, I have used it from other M.S Access menu and copy its code to the other menu and so on. I know it is much better and helpful for calculating. M.S Access has its limitation on calculation. VB gets into more details on modifying.
