If you ask me as long as adultery is a sin it should be criminalized and anyone found guilty should be sent to prison at least 1 or 2 years in jail in order to make the world a better place

Recently adultery become legal here but it should remain enough reason to get a divorce. I do not recommend this anyway. Same time I believe trust should be there and one has to trustworthy to the partner. Else get divorce and move on rather than cheating the other person.

well, no. I mean it’s wrong and all, but there are much worse things than that. It’s not or call to make. Resolve it or don’t resolve it, that’s their problem, not the laws.I am not in any way condoning the behavior, but we can’t just go around trying to enforce an archaic law. I mean a lot of the commandments are still relevant and should be followed, but not all of them apply anymore, nor should they.

Adultery is a sin no doubt (one of the ten commandments) but speaking in terms of state or federal law, i dont think it should be criminalized, its a decision based on "the pursuit of happiness". However, im all for criminalizing false rape accusations.

I don't think governments should be involved in peoples private relationship issues.
I certainly don't think adultery should be a criminal offence.

I 100% believe cheating is wrong and a cheater should be punished however i think jail wouldn't do anything because people would still cheat, and also because that would cost others money in taxes and instead of having more serious people in jail some cops would be wasting their time to find them and arrest them. I think in some states if your marriage is ended because of cheating you can sue them and if not maybe that would be a good way to criminalize it and make people not want to do it as much but i think jail would be toomuch

On some points I agree. But that must be very strict regulations in order to avoid mistakes in the future. For example, such as false reports and evidence that is not strong.
