What Must I Do ?

My co-teachers and me are so shocked about the memo from Philippines' Commission on Higher Education , (CHED) that stated that classes in all colleges and universities national and local governments units , will have classes to commence in August .
What am I going to do for a very long vacation? I have savings but August is too far and the salary will be by September 
. I , and almost all teachers in the tertiary level feel worried about this CHED memo.
How nice if there is another writing site that pays high so I can have something to survive for almost 5 months starting this month.
There is indeed , no permanence in this world. There are always changes.

I have not heard about this. Schools that tried to start their classes on such month went back to the regular opening of classes eventually.

@sunrisefan , yes this is the first time. Maybe there is war after the election,LOL.Try to read the post memo from CHED. All the schools that I am teaching own by national and local governments. I hope there is an appeal to proceed the same usual month,June. My students messaged me telling about their worries, why? Vacation is too long.It bores anyone.

@resukill22 , yes only in the tertiary private , national and LGU's owned colleges and universities. DepEd not affected and other private high school and elementary.

We were also surprised of this development. I think writing sites do not really pay that much. Are you on virily too? it's also slow there. I am registered on upwork but did not do any proposal yet. I have friends who are with rarejobs and other tutorial site for ESL, which pay better.

@florelway, writing sites cannot support our major needs.Though small earning from a site, it could help in other way.I may apply abroad.

@cacay1 so you intend of leaving your current job as professor of a state university? I figure that decision came up because of the 5 month lull. I hope the Government should have provided subsidy for all those who will be affected by the sudden implementation.

@Letranknight2015, you are right my friend. I need a part time job that I could earn better. I earn almost P65,000 monthly, merged income of the two schools that I am teaching.Actually, I am scared now. I hope there is a brave one to appeal to CHED to start the same and usual month,June.

@Beatburn , actually, yes but I am not yet a regular faculty in USTP. It takes 8 to 9 years to wait. I taught in a private university and transferred here.It will be my 9th year this June. I was told by June I can have item. Three years ago, there was a mass hiring and converting of part time to full time regular, but I was I in New Zealand that time with a work visa, and my task there did not prosper for so many reasons.When I came back, the items were already distributed. That was my fate between two destinies unfulfilled.

@jaboUK, That is true, Mylot earning can't support me though it helps in other way.There is a site that pays high, but the requirement is 2,800 words with 5 sub-topics, seems cruel enough at $50 pay per article and under judgment if to be accepted or not.I cannot take it, too laborious.It is not easy to gather research and establish to their site with no assurance of publication.
