My Bed Was Holding Me Captive

Good morning and Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Have you ever had a day when you just didn't want to get out of bed? That was me and I just had to force myself to put my feet on the floor and get up.
My bed was so comfortable that I just wanted to stay snuggled up.
But, I'm showered, dressed and ready to face the day. Coffee is ready so that should kick-start the old battery and get this day moving along.
I've never been one to bounce out of bed every morning.

Thanks for the smiles ..... I don't worry if I don't feel like getting outta bed, I figure since I'm retired I don't need to do anything I don't want to most of the time.
Of course Ally will stick her cold nose on my bare arm to let me know she's hungry, that usually does get me outta bed.

Guess it would be hard to ignore a cold wet doggie nose on your arm. Ally figures you don't need to stay in bed even if you are retired

I'm a morning person. I am tired of laying around before 7 AM. I'll go and quietly mylot or work on a quilt until hubby gets up.
Every now and again I must be really tired, or in a very deep sleep and don't awaken until after 7.

I really wish I was a morning person but I never have been. I remember having to drag myself out of bed every morning when I was a kid and going to school.

@Marilynda1225 don't expect me to party late. I'm the guest that's falling asleep later in the evening. Not from boredom, but because my body says it's bedtime.

That's me too. Once it gets warmer I probably won't stay in bed as long as I like to now.

Good morning Sleepy Head.
I don't get up until around 7:30 on my days off, which I did today and yesterday.
Its a bright and sunny morning here today.
I have already been out, I had an early morning errand to run.
I have a load of laundry just finishing in the washing machine, and will need to put that into the dryer and then later on I'll start a load of darks.
I am also going to go grocery shopping in just a little bit.
Smiles right back to you my friend!

Almost every day.
I had a mostly good night at bingo Wednesday, and then there was a table of kids that knew and sang almost ever song in the last two games LOUDLY AND PROUD. That made it fun for everyone. So had some smiles

You know that is the one thing that has changed in my life since I am alone. I am willing to meet and greet every day and cannot wait to get online because writing has become my world. I used to enjoy days just being lazy and reading and not getting up too early. Many smiles to you and hope you have a sunny Thursday

Yes and it was today. It was raining when I got up with no sunshine I opened my eyes and lay in bed wondering if I should stay there for another hour or so. I felt so comfy and as I awoke again, about 8:30, I looked at my curtains and decided I better get up and start preparations for tonight's dinner which is sticky brown rice, veggies and can corn beef hash...one of my favorites. I lay there in bed still unwilling to get up, but pulled myself up and began today.
