A frosty morning and three problems

I wrote about the endurance (horse) ride that we attended over the Easter weekend. The photo shows the sunrise at around 6.45am on Sunday. It was zero degrees although it warmed up nicely later. The event is held at the racetrack which has a certain amount of infrastructure in place. Riders erect portable yards for their horses and some sleep in their horse-floats. Some have very fancy ‘rigs’ which include separate accommodation for the riders as well as room for the horses. Our car battery went flat while we were at the ride. The battery is quite old but we were able to charge it up enough to get us home. Then the microwave in the caravan packed it in. It is an old one so no big deal. And when we got home, there is no water going through the laundry taps which is very strange indeed. But that’s three things so we’ll be right now.

It often happens doesn't it? We bought a new battery this morning and we managed to fix the taps so it's all good again.

My grandmother used to say things happen in threes. Now that your three have happened you can relax for a while. It sounds like you had a pretty good time despite you three little-big problems.

Things do come in threes sometimes our car battery packed up too but we did manage to get the guy to come and give us a new one it was really very good of him. Well what I mean is we did pay him for the battery. Glad you had a good time out otherwise.

I hope that this is the end of your things not working, usually 3 is a number, and hopefully that is the last number. If the battery and the microwave oven were both older, its understandable that they would eventually stop working, but what about the taps? Are they old also, usually plumbing is something a little more then what meets the eye. I hope that you are able to get them fixed and working again.
