Azaleas Blooming

While out walking in my yard, enjoying the sunshine, I noticed my azaleas are blooming. I only have one bush and the blooms do not last long. I try to enjoy them while I can. Photo ©CarolDM Love the color and the blooms take me back to my childhood. Many memories of the azaleas in full bloom. Usually at Easter is when we always saw the blooms. Enjoying the sunshine and finding new blooms in the garden. Hope you are all having a good day. Do you have azaleas in your world?

Those are beautiful. I have borders of pink azaleas in my yard up north as well as accent shrubs. Those also will not be seen again.

No azaleas here, at least not now. I have a couple of crocuses that are blooming. It's a start!

@caroldm In my world but not in my garden. My cherry tree has just blossomed and there’s a carpet of bluebells under the trees. I saw millions of bluebells in the forest today. Millions of them.

Azaleas are beautiful flowers but seem to be a bit to grow. Yours is a lovely colour.

I've so enjoyed this post! Your photo is just beautiful, as are the other colors of azaleas in some of the comments. I don't have any in my yard, but my former had bright magenta ones!

I am sure we do, just not good at knowing the names of flowers (except for Rose, and Tulips...etc). Very nice photo!
