Would you like to be a housewife?

I was a housewife when I first got married. I was bored. You can only clean the house so much. I went back to work after a year and loved it after I found a good job. The first job I started was a bit stressful and there were too many women in the office. Then I went to work for the State. I put in 34 years before I retired. Of course, with kids it is harder with a lot more to do.

Do I need to marry my house to be a housewife? Jokes apart, no dear. I prefer to work. Do you know why, for us, being working will make our life in order. I mean we will be organized well in may ways if we work. I am doing all the works at home before leaving to office and after reaching back to home. It is not that much easy but I am happy I am active. If I get an unexpected holiday (other than Sundays) then I would sleep and I am so much lazy and will be an unproductive day on that day for sure.

My mother has always been a housewife, we were a large family because the parents of my father lived with us. She was very busy all the time.

I wanted to be a housewife after the birth of my first child. After about a year, I was ready to go back to working. I was bored and I longed for friends and human contact besides my husband.

No I loved working. I raised six children and they never went without anything because of having two working parents. I would have been bored if I stayed home and did not work.
