There´s something burning in the house.

Yesterday, when I was boiling a couple of eggs, Leticia ran from the second floor yelling that something was being burned in the house.
I smelled and, yes, there was a horrible smell. No flames anywhere, so I went to the kitchen. The eggs were cooking in plenty of water so that there was no reason for them to get burned.
So I knocked the door of my bathroom where the workers were making unearthly noises and went in. The smell was horrendous.
I asked them what was it and they said that they had had to cut the tub to take it away. The tub was plastic, and I don´t know what they used ti do it and won´t ask. But now, half a day later, there´s still a smell that I don´t like in my house.
Do you care about the aroma that your house has? Are you aware of it? I love it sometimes, when I´m cooking, and a delicious aroma spreads through all my house. Or when, a a certain time of the year the freesias in my garden bloom and I cut some to place in a vase in my living room.

I´ll see what happens when the workers go away. I might light up a candle, but with a soft aroma.

I'm wondering why they had to cut the tub to get it out. It obviously got in in one piece when it was new.

The tub was fixed too hard in concrete. So they could not get it out in one piece without a heavy tool or machinery.

I like pleasant smells in the house but have when something unpleasant lingers.

I hope that when the bathroom remodeling finishes, we can clean everything and have some scents there.
