International Respect for Chickens Day
1959 - The 1st Annual Grammy Awards are held.
1929 - The great Audrey Hepburn (Audrey Kathleen Ruston) was born. She was a Belgian-British actress, model, dancer and humanitarian. She studied ballet and then moved to London in 1948. She shot into stardom with her appearance in Roman Holiday (1953). She's known for Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) and My Fair Lady (1964). She's received many awards and is one of the few people to have won an Academy Award, Emmy, Grammy and Tony.
She spent much of her later life working with UNICEF. She passed away in 1993 from cancer.
