Who is the real Hero? / myLot

We must have watched many heroes in films.Are they real heroes? The simple meaning of hero word is "A man or boy who is admired by many people for his brave deeds or the chief male person in a story or play or movie. These days the hero of a film who is liked by the people is a hero in the eyes of public. Some people say that soldiers are real heroes.Some people say a husband is a real hero in the life of a wife. The great writer R.w. Emerson writes- "Every hero at last becomes a bore" Porteus writes- One murder makes a villain , million a hero Mad Neckar writes- Worship your heroes from a far ,contact withers them. What do you think about a hero?

I know that most people who are in fact true heroes, say simply that, "I did what any other person would have done in a similar situation." In other words, a true hero refuses praise.

@sunilmishra7756 , I saw a report on the news recently. It was about a small child who saw that his mother was hurt from a fall. She was unable to move. The boy, about age 6, knew how to call for help on the telephone. Because of his fast action, the medical services were dispatched to the home of the boy and his mother in time to save his mother's life. She had suffered a heart attack and that was the reason for her falling. That young boy was given a chance to ride in the fire truck. He was recognized by the fire fighters as a true hero for calling 911 and these are the kinds of stories I like best.

Circumstance decides who becomes the hero or villain. More often than not, those we admire and place on a pedestal often turn out to have "feet of clay". No one is perfect.
