What do you think of life in a small town?

I have lived in small towns and I can say that it was a very pleasant experience. all the places are reasonably close to each other, the neighborhood knows better (and therefore also helps more), the use of cars is less intense and many other advantages. What is your opinions about it? Even if you've never lived in a small town... How do you think life is there?

@WiseGhots I like peace and quiet. It has been my dream to live in a small town in a province or something like that. I was born and raised in the city.

We've lived just outside a very small town for 35 years now. I'm glad there's a larger town to shop in about an hour away and another smaller town about 10 miles away. But we love living in the country.

Actually, I have always wanted to live in a small town where everyone knows you. I was born and raised in NYC so that was a really big town. Maybe one day down the road I'll move to a really small one.

i hate it ! i moved from the capital of morocco to this very small town. what bothers me most is how people are very close minded here. there isn't a lot of places to eat, (i miss sushi ), i can't buy clothes here, there's onlyy few shops to choose from.. no cinema,. for my age, it's not really the best place to live.

My place use to be a small town ( a municipality) till we voted for cityhood and it became one of the cities of Metro Manila or the National Capital region, she still retains the old charm of a small town but it's a modern city at the same time, I'm happy and contented to enjoy both worlds.

@WiseGhots I am a city person and was born in one and lived in cities all my life so really have no opinion of small towns. I have seen shows with them and that ones you are accepted you are one of them.

I grew up in a small town & went to college in a small town. I love it. The people are typically nicer & the area is prettier. I live in a semi small town now & it's okay.
