It has been a while since I have had anything to write about but I have returned with some great news! I will be getting a procedure done to correct my eyes and be rid of my glasses! I am so incredibly excited to finally be able to do this. A while back when my in laws visited we went to an Irish Festival being held here and I was stopped and offered the chance to win some lasik eye surgery. I have always wanted to get this procedure done and be rid of my glasses but never had the means to do it or any idea really in where to start. I did not think I would win because I am just not that lucky but a few days later I receive a call stating I've won $1000 off of eye correction surgery! I could not believe it. I went in for my consult today and my appointment for the actual procedure is the 29th. I am so excited you guys have no idea how happy this makes me! There is so much I will be able to do now like being more accurate while cosplaying, actually being able to apply makeup without guessing what im doing from not being able to see, and just to be able to see people clearly without glasses. I am so happy it made me cry. I can't wait. Have you ever had this procedure done? How did it go for you?

Congratulations, I am glad that you won, did you ask how much it is the total procedure? I mean, how much is left to pay taken out the 1,000 $? Here it costs a little more than $ 1,000 for each eye.

@IvySaysHi I see, for astigmatism the cost is covered by the healthcare insurance here in Switzerland. We only have a small contribution to pay. My husband is evaluating if to take the risk.

Congratulations, so it's one grand off on the procedure, how much would the entire procedure cost you if you take out 1,000?
